Directed by Samuel Wanjohi, this short film ‘Biting Back the Mosquitoes’ dives into the implemetation of a malaria trial in Kenya’s Kwale county, as part of BOHEMIA (Broad One Health Endectocide-based Malaria Intervention in Africa), a project funded by Unitaid, to combat malaria transmission by reducing mosquito populations.
The trial in Kenya was implemented by the Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI) and the KEMRI Wellcome Trust Research Programme.
