We are thrilled to announce that 19 abstracts authored by researchers from the Unitaid-funded BOHEMIA project, have been accepted for the American Society of Tropical Medicine & Hygiene (ASTMH) Annual Meeting 2022. The three abstracts accepted for oral presentations will be presented by Emma O’Bryan, Caroline Kiuru and Cassidy Rist. The other accepted abstracts will be presented in the form of posters.

Considering the interdisciplinary nature of the trial, the oral presentations and posters by the BOHEMIA project researchers will touch upon a variety of topics including the entomological impact of ivermectin, the safety of mass drug administration of ivermectin, livestock ownership, and malaria incidence, and the regulatory pathway for repurposing ivermectin for malaria.

Mark your calendar at ASTMH 2022, and don’t miss out on these presentations!
